Hey, I'm Sarah
Adventure following artist, seeking the thrill
Based in Loudoun County, Virginia. I am a maternity, newborn, family, and family photographer. Back in 2004, I picked up my Dad's Olympus camera at a family reunion in South Georgia and that was it. After I became a mother, photography became so, so much more to me; it became a source of healing and capturing my son during the times that I struggled with postpartum. I deeply cherish those photos and I am so grateful for them. If I woke up one morning with a million dollars, I still would do exactly what I am doing for the rest of my life; I love it that much. It is truly my love and passion, and I still have to pinch myself that I get to do this for a living.
My favorite parts of sessions is to make others laugh and feel comfortable with letting loose in front of me. I want for my clients to come as they are and let their kids run through the water; let their spirits run free and be themselves. I love capturing the moment and bringing the emotive side of your family to my work for you to hang in your home. I want to evoke emotion and create memories that you will look back on when your kids are grown. I want you to remember the feeling of them being little and hold on to that feeling for as long as possible. I promise to create an experience that is full of fun and a memory that you will have for years to come.
